Training

The organization should create a facilities maintenance training program. Requirements for training programs can be found in section 11.8 Training and.

Training should cover, but not be limited to, the following:

1. Systems and equipment operations and maintenance.
2. Maintenance procedures and practices.
3. The use of the BMS (Building Management System) and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Software), where applicable.
4. Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) - details are described in section 20.7.
5. Program specific orientation and maintenance issues (manual and automated).
6. Service management processes.
