The organization should apply any of the reputable project management methodologies, e.g. PRINCE2 (Projects in Controlled Environments), PMBOK (Project Management Body Of Knowledge), CCPM (Critical Chain Project Management) and Agile frameworks. Ideally, the organization should standardize on one single methodology for similar type of projects to ensure a commonality of approach for those projects. However, it is acceptable to have different project management methodologies for different type of projects (e.g. a project for installing a new ICT environment could have a different methodology versus the construction of a new computer room).
