Company safety Policies and Regulations

The organization should have an occupational health and safety (OH&S) policies. OH&S is also often referred to as WHS (Work Health Safety) or EH&S (Environmental Hazards & Safety). The OH&S policies should be at least similar or better than the regulatory and industry specific requirements. The policies should at least:

1) Be appropriate to the nature and size of the data center/organization.
2) Be approved and signed off by senior management.
3) Include a regular review and continuous improvement plan.
4) Be readily available to relevant individuals within the organization, its customers, visitors and suppliers.
5) Be communicated on a regular basis.
