The organization should establish and maintain occupational health and safety objectives which are documented and communicated within the organization.
The objectives should be:
1) Realistic and measurable (where applicable).
2) Be relevant to the department and/or function.
3) Be part of, or referenced, in departmental goals and/or job descriptions.
The organization should establish a program supporting the objectives set. Examples of such programs could include training and communication plans, reward/penalty schemes and other ways of driving towards achieving the objectives.
