Communication, Participation and Consultation

The organization should have procedures which enables two-way communication between the staff writing and maintaining the policies, procedures and work instructions related to occupational health and safety and those who use it on a daily basis. Such two-way communication, participation and consultation should include:

1) Procedures for users to provide feedback which will be recorded and evaluated on a regular basis.
2) Procedures which allow reviews of proposed changes by subject matter experts and one or more users to whom the procedures will apply.
