The illustration below shows the EPI® - Data Center Framework© which is at the heart of this standard. The ‘EPI Data Center Framework©’ provides Data Center Investors/Owners/Operators with a system addressing all disciplines of a structured and fully managed data center. The Framework addresses the site selection, design and outfitting of the physical facilities. It also includes the governance and management framework and disciplines required to organize and operate a data center which meets the business requirements of its customers.
