The Position

We are currently seeking a talented and driven Data Center Trainer/Auditor to join our team and support the high growth of our training and audit services in the APAC region. Job Description;

• Conduct EPI data center training and audit services throughout (mainly) the APAC region
• Lead audits in a professional manner as per the ISO standard requirements and EPI’s internal processes/procedures
• Manage clients during training and audit engagements and promote EPI services where they can add business value to our customers
• Assist in writing/reviewing technical articles
• Assist in marketing, promotional and pre-sales activities
• Carry out additional tasks where required such as course development/reviews, audit report reviews etc.
• Provide market information to the management team on new market trends, customer requirements and business opportunities
• Apply judgment and act according to EPI’s high standards of ethics and integrity

The following would describe the ideal profile of the person we are looking for;

Must haves;

• Been involved in data centers in an operations and/or design/implementation capacity for a minimum of 5 years
• Possess in-depth knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems for a data center environment
• Native English proficieny
• Must be able to travel at least 1-2 weeks per month (when required, depending on projects)
• Knowledge of standards such as TIA-942, DCOS®, and data center guidelines and best practices
• Energetic personality who is willing to go the extra mile ensuring we meet and exceed customer expectations
• Able to work independently, act quickly and decisively with a high level of initiative and resourcefulness
• A detailed oriented, meticulous, and committed individual who can work well under pressure and with tight deadlines and is willing to work out of office hours where needed
• Must be willing to relocate to Malaysia

Great to have;

• Prior experience with designing, implementing and/or running TIA-942 based data centers
• CDCP and CTDC certifications
• International experience
• Teaching/Training experience
