Singapore (8 Mar 2018) – EPI announced today the release of its globally acclaimed DCOS® (Data Centre Operations Standard®) in both Simplified and Traditional Chinese, a pivotal development for the China and Taiwan data centre industry. 

The DCOS® is the first complete and so far, the only, data centre operations standard in the world covering all the disciplines for a fully managed mission-critical data centre facility.  The DCOS (English & Spanish) released two years ago and has already gained a large international following with over 3,000 copies downloaded in the relatively short time frame.  The high adoption rate of the DCOS® is not only because it is the only complete data centre operations standard in the world which addresses a very crucial need in the data centres, it is also due to its highly practical design, which is easy to use and delivers tangible results in a short time for any data centre.

The interest has spread to China and Taiwan. Earlier this year, EPI embarked on the project to translate the DCOS® to Simplified and Traditional Chinese to help the data centre industry in these two countries raise the bar on their governance, operations and maintenance processes to global levels.
